In order to use Simtext, you must first complete the registration process
and create a user name and password. During registration you are required
to give contact information (such as name and email address). We may use
this information to contact you about the services we offer or of services
provided by third parties.
You have the option to provide further information about your personal
interests; we encourage you to submit this information so we can provide
you a more personalized experience.

Sim Systems Ltd collects personally identifiable information from our
users during the registration process and at several other points on our

Payment
If you decide to pay for Simtext services by credit card, we request certain
personally identifiable information from you as part of the payment process.
You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and address)
and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).
We use this information for billing purposes. If we have trouble processing
an order, we will use this information to contact you.
Surveys or Contests
From time-to-time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in

Tell-A-Friend
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site
and to ask us to send your friend an automatic invitation to join Simtext,
we will ask you for your friend’s name, mobile phone number and
email address. We will automatically send your friend an SMS text message
and an email inviting him or her to join Simtext. Sim Systems Ltd stores
this information for the sole purpose of sending these invitations and
tracking the success of our referral program.
Your friend may contact us at customerservices@simtext.com to request
that we remove this information from our database.
Uses of Information
Simtext is a low cost text messaging service that allows users to send
messages to other Simtext members at a fraction of the cost of regular
text messages. Sim Systems or other companies selected by us may send
you offers and advertisements within your messages, these are part of
the Simtext service and are how we keep the fees low.
The information you submit will help us personalize the advertisements
that we send to you. You can opt out of receiving advertisements and offers
by sending an email to customerservices@simtext.com. However the Simtext
service can only be provided to you if you allow us to send you the adverts
as this is partly how we keep the fees low. Therefore if you opt out we
will take this as notification that you wish to cancel the service.
Communications from the Site
Special Offers and Updates
We will occasionally send you information on new products and services
and any special deals or promotions.
Service-related Announcements
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions
when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily
suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email.
Customer Service
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we
will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password.
We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide
the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate
with you by email, by Simtext message or by regular SMS message.

refer a friend process to create your user “profile”. We tie
your personally identifiable information to information in the profile,
in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve
the content of the site for you.
We share your profile together with your personally identifiable information
with other selected third parties so that we can send you relevant advertisements
and offers.

We share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our
partners and advertisers. This information does not identify individual

We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.

of these adverts by Simtext is partly how we keep the fees low. You can
opt out of receiving adverts but this will be taken as a request to cancel
the Simtext service.
Agents
We use a third party company for credit card processing to bill you for
Simtext services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally
identifiable information for any other purposes.
Legal Disclaimer
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information
as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to
protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court
order, or legal process served on our Web site
Choice/Opt-out
We provide you the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your
personally identifiable information used for certain purposes, when we
ask for this information. For example, if when you register for Simtext
you do not wish to receive any additional marketing material direct from
third parties, you can opt out.
If you no longer wish to receive advertisements or offers within your
Simtext messages you can opt out by sending an email to customerservices@simtext.com.
However the advertisements are one of the ways we keep the cost down so
if you cancel the advertisements we will not be able to provide you the
Simtext service and will take your opt out as notification that you wish
to cancel the service.
Log Files
As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically
and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol
(IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit
pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to
analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements
around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base
as a whole.
We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable
